The Authors
Kristin Mikie Sword and Jamie Yabuno met when they were six years old and have been finding excuses to make things together ever since. In elementary school it was playground projects and Spice Girls choreography. In middle school, Kristin's parents let them loose on the garage with paint — Jamie led the vision, Kristin organized the cleanup crew. The dynamic was set.
In their adult lives, Kristin went deep into the startup world and Jamie went on to save actual lives as a doctor. They stayed close, stayed creative, and eventually decided it was time to make something real together.
The ABCs of Startups is their first book — made with a lot of heart, a very specific sense of humor, and one strategic viewing of Silicon Valley to get Jamie up to speed.
